Low Valentino

I was born and raised in Houston Tx. My actual name is Lorenzo, but people always called me Low. I’ve been making art ever since I was able to process what was even going on. My biggest inspiration to make art was definitely Stan Lee and all of the characters he created. Thanks to my mother I still have most of my first drawings ever! And yes… they are ALL Spider-Man.

In my teen years, I began to grow a deep passion for horror movies! I would fall asleep to Child’s Play and Friday the 13th nightly. This is when I became a huge Stan Winston fan. The fact that he was able to create so many different monsters and creatures was insane!! So naturally I started drawing as many monsters as I could. I would draw for hours to create monsters that I thought would be able to go toe to toe with the predator. Looking at them now however.. I know that they would’ve never stood a chance.. waaay to top heavy..

There are definitely thousands of other creators who heavily influenced me like: Tim Burton and Guillermo del Toro. And I’m so thankful to have the opportunity and ability to create art. I understand fully that i have a loooong way to go. But I find satisfaction in knowing that I am at least headed somewhat in the right direction.

I’m still young and constantly learning, so I thank anyone who supports me for doing what I love! And thank you for taking the time to read this!
